SOLID-SELF-LUBRICATION BUSHES-JSP WEAR PLATE
SOLID-SELF-LUBRICATION BUSHES-JSP WEAR PLATE
Working Principle and Features
The core of JSP self-lubricating bearings lies in the pre-designed holes or grooves embedded in a high-strength brass base (common grades such as CuZn25A16Fe3Mn3 or CuZn24AL6) with solid lubricants such as graphite, molybdenum disulfide (MoS2), or PTFE.
Its working principle is as follows: During friction, the base bears most of the load, and the embedded solid lubricant transfers to the friction surface, forming a firmly adhered solid lubricating film, thereby reducing friction and wear. With use, the embedded lubricant continuously replenishes the friction surface, achieving long-term self-lubrication.
Key features include:
Self-lubricating and impact-resistant: Can operate in oil-free or difficult-to-form-oil-film conditions. The high hardness of the base copper alloy (HB210-270 or higher) provides superior impact and wear resistance compared to ordinary copper bushings.
Wide operating temperature range: Generally suitable for environments from -40℃ to +300℃, some products can reach 400℃ for short periods.
Corrosion and chemical resistance: Resistant to water or acid corrosion.
Protecting the Shaft from Wear: The formed solid transfer film effectively reduces shaft wear.

Typical Application Areas
JSP self-lubricating bearings are widely used in the following fields due to their excellent properties:
🏭Metallurgical Equipment: Continuous casting machines, rolling mill equipment.
🏭Heavy Machinery: Mining machinery, large metal extrusion equipment.
🏭Transportation: Train supports, ships.
🏭Construction Machinery: Hydraulic engineering equipment (e.g., arched gates), bridge supports.
🏭Industrial Molds: Automotive body panel molds, guide plates for stamping dies.
🏭Others: Steam turbines, injection molding machinery, etc.
💎 Selection and Usage Tips
Selection Reference: The model number of a JSP self-lubricating bearing (e.g., JSP 30-50-10) usually reflects its basic dimensions (e.g., inner diameter, outer diameter, thickness). Specific dimensions and structures such as oil grooves and oil holes can be customized according to user drawings.
Installation Points:
The surface roughness of the mounting base is recommended to be less than Ra 3.2μm.
The surface roughness of the guide rail surface that rubs against the bearing is recommended to be less than Ra 1.6μm. If oil grooves or oil holes are required, be sure to remove burrs.
Advantages Summary: JSP bearings are maintenance-free, have a long service life, can adapt to harsh working conditions (high temperature, dust, lack of lubrication, etc.), and do not wear on the grinding shaft.
